The 36-year-old actor will appear in a single episode of FX's horror series, reported Entertainment Weekly.
Show creator Ryan Murphy, who previously worked with Bomer on 'The Normal Heart', said, "I try to get him to do everything for me.
"I sent him a text that said, 'First right of refusal, here's the role.' It's very... Warped."
Murphy also had to work around Bomer's 'Magic Mike 2' schedule in order to fit him into the show.
'Freak Show's cast includes Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, and Evan Peters besides Jyoti Amge, world's shortest living woman from India.
'American Horror Story: Freak Show' will premiere on FX on October 8.
