May Day celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm in Puducherry

May Day was celebrated in the Union Territory of Puducherry with zeal and enthusiasm by various trade unions and labour outfits today.
The CITU, AITUC, INTUC and also various other trade unions held special programmes to highlight the day.
Chief Minister N Rangasamy, Local Administration Minister N G Panneerselvam, Welfare Minister P Rajavelu and AICC General Secretary V Narayanasamy were among those who greeted the working class on the occasion.
Chief Minister in his message referred to the care and attention the Puducherry government was paying towards amelioration of the welfare of the labourers.
