MEA wins friendly cricket match against Australian High Commission

The Ministry of External Affairs team has won a friendly Twenty20 cricket match against the Australian High Commission at the Jesus and Mary College here.

The Australian High Commission team won the toss and chose to bat. The Australian side, which included Deputy High Commissioner Rod Hilton and Political Counsellor Christian Hirst, set a target of 150 runs in 20 overs.

The Ministry of External Affairs team achieved the target in just 11 overs, scoring 151 without any loss of wicket.
