Medium sugar firms up on lacklustre trade

Medium sugar prices firmed up in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi wholesale market here today due to sustained demand from stockists and bulk consumers.
While, small sugar ruled steady in the absence of any largescale buying activity.
Medium sugar (M-30) advanced by Rs 16 per quintal to Rs 3,772/3,892 from Thursday's close Rs 3,756/3,892.
Small sugar (S-30) closed unchanged at Rs 3,666/3,781 per quintal.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,666/3,781 (Rs 3,666/3,781).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,772/3,892 (Rs 3,756/3,892).
