Medium sugar recovers marginally on renewed demand

Medium sugar prices recovered marginally at the Vashi wholesale market here today on renewed demand from stockist and retailers.
While, small sugar witnessed a mixed pattern of trading on alternate bouts of buying and selling.
Medium sugar (M-30) moved up by Rs 2 per quintal to Rs 3,042/3,182 from Monday's closing level of Rs 3,042/3,180.
Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 2,911/3,032 as against Rs 2,912/3,022 yesterday.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,911/3,032 (Rs 2,912/3,022).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,042/3,182 (Rs 3,042/3,180).
