The JCILPS which is spearheading the movement for implementation of inner line permit system in Manipur had a joint meeting with the government of Manipur at chief ministers secretariat hall.
Speaking to the media soon after the meeting, Kh Ratan, convenor (in charge) of JCILPS said that today's meeting with the government was positive.
The government has agreed to include the five major points raised by JCILPS to safeguard the rights of the indigenous people of Manipur in the draft Bill, he said.
