At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in August month gained Rs 11.30, or 1.21 per cent, to Rs 944.30 per kg in business turnover of 196 lots.
On similar lines, the oil for delivery in far-month September contracts traded higher by Rs 10.70, or 1.13 per cent, to Rs 955 per kg in 22 lots.
Traders said apart from a firm trend at spot market on rising demand from consuming industries, restricted supplies from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh, mainly kept mentha oil prices higher at futures trade.
