Mercury continues upward trend in Delhi

Mercury continued its upward trend in Delhi as minimum temperature crossed the 30 degrees mark to settle at 31.6 degree Celsius this morning which was four notches above normal.
According to MeT department, there could be some respite later in the day with skies expected to turn partly cloudy. Maximum temperature is expected to settle around 42 degree Celsius.
Humidity level was recorded at 42 per cent at 8:30 AM.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded three degrees above the season's average at 42.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 30 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal for this time of the season.
