The maximum temperature was recorded at 31.9 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum settled around 17.5 degrees Celsius, also two notches above the normal, said a Met department official.
The humidity in air oscillated between 92 and 46 per cent.
The MeT office has predicted overcast conditions for tomorrow along with the possibility of thundery developments.
"The skies will be partly cloudy. Thundery developments may occur in some areas. There will be mist or shallow fog in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 30 and 17 degrees Celsius," the weatherman said.
