"Trains are being made to run at restricted speed due to signal issues at Noapara, resulting in an average delay of nearly 40 minutes of the trains to reach Dum Dum," a senior official of Metro service said.
The problem was detected at around 10 PM near the car shed area which resulted in the delay of services, he said.
"The line panel in the north-end near Noapara car shed showed some disturbance causing delay," the official said.
