Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said that 'Mhara Gaon, Jagmag Gaon' (our village, illuminated village) scheme will be launched for those villages where there is no power theft.
Also, the villages where the line losses are not more than
20 per cent and the consumers are depositing their electricity bills regularly qualify for the scheme.
Such villages will be given electricity for 16 hours a day, which will be further extended to 18 hours and 24 hours in a phased manner.
He was addressing a 'Vikas Rally' at grain market in Nangal Chaudhary, where he accepted most of the demands put forth by Dr Abhey Singh Yadav, who represents Nangal Chaudhary assembly constituency.
The Chief Minister made a number of announcements for Nangal Chaudhary assembly. He approved Lift Irrigation Scheme of Rs 143 crore for Nangal Chaudhary and district Mahendergarh and said that this will be got implemented through scheme of NABARD.
Refering to demand raised by Abhey Singh Yadav to consider the case of Guest teachers sympathetically and regularize them, Khattar said that the government's sympathy is with the government has to abide by the court orders.
The Punjab and Haryana high court on Monday had dismissed an application filed by guest teachers who were put on notice for termination by the Haryana government on Friday.
The Court has directed to make regular appointments for which the state government has made arrangements but the process will take a year, Khattar said.
He said that the government is thinking of providing relaxation in age to these Guest Teachers taking their experience into consideration.
He said that during last ten years very few regular appointments were made, as a result thousands of posts are lying vacant.
On the demand of constructing Logistic Hub, which was to be developed in Bawal, in Nangal Chaudhary, the Chief Minister said that a Corridor is to be constructed near here and along it lot of development will take place.
The Container Depot, Industrial Units and Logistics Hub etc. Would come along it and majority of these projects would come to district Mahendergarh but it would require land.
The land owners of the constituency who offer land to the government themselves, would be considered, he said.
"Now the ball is in the court of the MLAs and whoever is able to convince their farmers will get these projects," he said.
Khattar said that the government is ready to add something to the prevailing market rates of the land, meaning thereby that the farmers will not get less than the market price.
