Michelin brings Scorcher tyre range for Harley bikes to India

Tyre major Michelin today launched its co-branded Scorcher tyre range for Harley Davidson bikes in the Indian replacement market.
The six Scorcher range tyres would be sold across the country through all Michelin authorised dealers in addition to the Harley Davidson network in India, Michelin said in a statement.
The Michelin Scorcher 11 and the Michelin Scorcher 31 are fitted as original equipment on Harley-Davidson Sportster, Dyna, V-Rod and Harley-Davidson Street motorcycles.
"We...Are happy to make Michelin Scorchers available to a wide network of Michelin dealerships across India in the replacement market," Michelin Africa-India-Middle East Commercial Director- Two Wheels Pradeep G Thampy said.

With the launch of the new range, tyre portfolio covers the widest possible range of leisure motorcycles in India, he added.
The launch of co-branded tyres in India is part of Michelin and Harley-Davidson's global agreement. The companies have been partners since 2008.
