Militants hurl grenades on security forces in JK's Baramulla

Militants Tuesday attacked security forces with grenades at two separate places in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

In the first attack, the militants fired two UBGL grenades on an Army bunker near Degree College in Sopore in north Kashmir district, a police official said.

He said the grenades exploded without causing any damage.

In another incident this evening, the militants lobbed a grenade on police station Pattan, the official said.

He said the grenade exploded outside the police station without causing any damage.

No loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents, the official said.
