Two tractor-trailers loaded with sand blocked the way of Superintendent of Police S Arul last night while he was in his official car to check illegal sand and gravel mining from riverbeds in Baddi area of Solan.
"While I was on way to check mining, two tractors, coming from the other side, did not give way to my vehicle," the SP said.
Earlier this month, alleged mining mafia had attacked IAS officer Yunus Khan, a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Nalagarh in Solan.
