Minor dies of suffocation inside car

A three-year-old boy died, allegedly due to suffocation after he accidentally locked himself in a car in Kairana town of Shamli district, police said today.
The incident took place last evening when the kid identified as Ahmad, took the keys of a car and went inside the vehicle, they said.
The car got locked soon after the child entered it and he was suffocated as the windows were closed, police said.
He was found lying unconscious in the car after nearly three hours by his family members following which he was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead, police said.
