Mixed trend in the market

Prices of moong dal, gram dal and wheat moved up while sugar declined during the week ending in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Moong dal opened the week at Rs 9,400 per quintal, an increase of Rs 400 from its previous closing rate of Rs 9,000 and maintained the same trend till today.
Likewise, gram dal opened the week at Rs 3,900 from its previous rate of Rs 3,800 with a gain of Rs.100 per quintal and settled today at the same rate.
On Monday, Wheat opened at Rs 2,600 from last week's closing rate of Rs 2,500, a gain of Rs.100 per quintal and ended at the same rate today.
In contrast, sugar moved down to Rs 2,850 from its previous closing rate of Rs 2,880 since monday.
Thoor dal, urad dal, Maida and Sooji ruled steady throughout the week.
