Though a press statement of President Pranab Mukherjee said Qureshi shall cease to hold the office of the Governor of Mizoram, the official letter from Rashtrapati Bhavan is yet to be received, according to Raj Bhavan officials here.
The President has appointed West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi to discharge functions of the Governor of Mizoram, in addition to his own duties, temporarily.
