The companies that have bid include Otis Elevator Company (India) and Otis Electric Elevator Company, Autometers Alliance, Fujitec India, City Lift India, Johnson Lifts, SJEC Corporation, Schindler India and Schindler Fahrtreppen International, Schindler Turkeli Asansor Sanayi AS, Kone Corporation and Kone Elevator India and Royal Infrastructure on behalf of SE-ROYAL consortium.
"It was also important that there was global competition for the bids so as to be able to get best products for the entire corridor and looking at the list of companies we are sure of the best products," MMRC Managing Director Ashwini Bhide said in a statement.
