Model Code violation case against Bijnore BSP candidate

A case for violating model code of conduct was filed against BSP candidate from neighbouring Bijnore constituency, Maluk Nagar, here today.
On March 23, Maluk's calvacade comprising 125 supporters on 18 vehicles was passing through Asilpur village in the district without necessary permission from administration, District Magistrate Pankaj Yadav said.
Banners, flags, pamphlets were found in the vehicles, he said, adding, campaigning through road show without necessary permission is violation of model code of conduct.
A case was registered at the Kithir police station here.
