Modi lauds achievements of Mary Kom, Saina during his Sweden visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded the achievements of Indian athletes at the Commonwealth Games and especially mentioned pugilist MC Mary Kom and shuttler Saina Nehwal in his address to the Indian diaspora in Sweden.

Addressing the Indian community at the Stockholm University here yesterday, Modi said that India's stature has increased at the world stage.

Lauding the achievements of Indian athletes, the prime minister said, "The achievements of Mary Kom and Saina Nehwal make our hearts swell in pride."
