"With secularism, we focus on good governance and Modi Raj will be like Ram Rajya," Naqvi said.
In the city for a party meeting to review preparations for the upcoming polls, Naqvi said that BJP would take part in the contest on the plank of nation building.

"But we give priority to secularism along with good governance," he said at a news conference here.
"The UPA government in the last 10 years faced policy paralysis.
"It formed a search panel for the Lokpal, but after renowned jurist Fali Nariman, KT Thomas, too, has refused to join it because no intellectual wishes to be part of this government's (endeavour)," he said.
Referring to the Union government's intention of taking the ordinance route to bring in key provisions, Naqvi said, "Congress people say that behind the agenda of ordinance is Rahul Gandhi, but why could he not think of corruption when huge scams took place in the government?"
He further alleged that Congress was "a fort of corruption".
"Now, when Congress leaders understand that there is resentment against their party, they are contemplating such moves," he said while expressing confidence of gaining a clear majority in Lok Sabha elections.
The Union Cabinet had last night rejected the ordinance route for a set of anti-corruption measures despite pressure from Gandhi for bringing in laws on his pet issues.
The Union Cabinet discussed the question of ordinances, but it was felt that "full deliberations" were required in the matter in Parliament in keeping with the "highest traditions of democratic principles".
