The meetings have been scheduled with a number of other world leaders including Emir of Qatar Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas which will begin a few hours after his return to New York on an overnight flight from San Francisco, External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup said yesterday.
Modi's meeting with the British Prime Minister David Cameron was a last minute addition, the official said.
In addition to these bilateral meetings, Modi will attend a lunch hosted by UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon and address a United Nations summit convened by Obama on UN Peacekeeping.
