Madhya Pradesh cabinet today gave its approval to the proposed CM Young Professionals for Development Programme, which is aimed at generating innovative ideas for government's developmental schemes.
"Under the CM Young Professionals for Development Programme, professionals up to the maximum age of 35 would be roped in for two years. These professionals would directly report to the CM. A decision in this regard was taken in the cabinet meeting today," state Public Relations Minister Narottam Mishra said after the meeting.
He said the professionals applying for this programme should have an experience of at least six years.
"Such programmes are being run successfully in Maharashtra and Haryana. The professionals would be hired through the government-run School of Good Governance," Mishra added.
The minister said that the cabinet also decided to allot 654 hectares land to establish Support Weapon Training School to Into-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) in Damoh district.
Besides, the cabinet also gave its nod to set up a Bone Marrow Transplant Centre at Indore's M Y Hospital.
"During Chief Minister's New York visit, some doctors had offered help. These doctors visited Indore and suggested to set up Bone Marrow Transplant Centre. Two doctors of MY Hospital were trained for this work," Mishra informed.
The cabinet also decided to hand over 342-acre of land spread across Bhopal's South T T Nagar and North T T Nagar to Bhopal Smart City Development Corporation for developing the smart city under the Centre's government-run scheme.
