The Madhya Pradesh High Court today issued notice to the Centre and Reserve Bank of India seeking their replies on a PIL on cash crunch being faced by people post demonetisation.
The division bench of justices P K Jaiswal and Virender Singh also issued notice to the Madhya Pradesh government and Indore Collector on the PIL filed by lawyer Akhilesh Sharma.
The petitioner urged the court to give directions to the government to ensure that people don't have to face difficulties of standing in long queues in front of ATMs and banks for withdrawing their own money.
