 "M P Pinto, N C Singhal resign from Essar Shipping board")
M P Pinto and N C Singhal have resigned from directorship of the company effective from April 3, 2015 and April 6, 2015, respectively, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
However, the company did not state any reasons for their resignations.

Michael Pinto is a former Shipping Secretary and former chairman of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, while N C Singhal is the founder of the erstwhile Shipping Credit and Investment Company of India Ltd (SCICI).
Essar Shipping shares were trading 2.09 per cent up at Rs 22 per scrip during afternoon session on the BSE.
