MPCA polls: Scindia elected president again

The results of the election, which was held today amid tight security, was announced late tonight.

Scindia polled 150 against his rival and Madhya Pradesh Industries Minister Kailash Vijaywargia, who secured 73 votes.

The elections for the state cricket body are held every two years.

Scindia has defeated Vijayvargiya in the MPCA polls for the second time in a row. During the last polls, Vijayvargiya had lost to Scindia by over 70 votes.
