MTS partners HP India to boost 3G data usage on tablets

Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) has partnered with Hewlett-Packard India for offering free MBlaze Ultra Wi-Fi dongle on purchase of HP Omni10 tablet, priced at Rs 27,990.
SSTL provides telecom services under the MTS brand.
Besides the dongle, MTS is also offering customers free 200 MB of data usage every month for lifetime and accessories, including a wall charger and an on-the-go (OTG) cable, MTS said in a release.
"With a surge in the number of tablet and smartphone users in India, there has been a paradigm shift in the way Internet is being consumed by customers on the move," MTS India Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Leonid Musatov said.

Tata Comm partners Kaltura for online video, content delivery * Tata Communications has partnered with Kaltura to combine the former's Content Delivery Network (CDN) with Kaltura's leading open source online video platform.
The integrated offering will enable media companies, enterprises and educational institutions to manage the entire video process, from acquisition to delivery, through a single easy-to-use interface, Tata Communications said in a release.
Given how complicated video workflow and distribution can be for content providers, Tata Communications and Kaltura combine to offer the industry an end-to-end, cloud-based video platform, it added.
