In a survey among the four teams for the last seven days, 'Google Insights for search' registered maximum number of 'hits' by Mumbai Indians followed by the two-time defending champions Chennai Super Kings.
Delhi Daredevils were the third in the list followed by Kolkata Knight Riders at the bottom.
"Netizens just cannot get enough of Mumbai Indians who are driving the majority of internet searches on Google with 59 hits.
"Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Super Kings were ahead of Delhi with 46-36. KKR were the last in terms of online popularity with 28 hits," a statement by Google India said.
