After coming out of Dispur police station following a two-hour stay there, Mikhail told reporters that he was asked about the case.
To queries if he had submitted any documents to the police, Mikhail who earlier claimed to have evidence in the case including photographs, replied in the negative.
To another question, he said he was not aware of any birth certificate in which Indrani's parents were named as Sheena's parents.
Earlier, a two-member Mumbai Police team visited Indrani's parents house in Ganeshguri area of the city this afternoon as part of their investigation.
The Mumbai Policemen refused to say anything to the reporters outside Mikhail's house.
"It is a sensitive case. Investigation is on," they said.
Yesterday and earlier in the day prior to the visit of the Mumbai Police team, Mikhail claimed before reporters that he had evidence on the murder case of his sister.
He also said that he feared he would be the next target. "If the police summons me to Mumbai, I want my friends to accompany me as the Mukherjea duo are very high-profile and anything can happen to me."
"Indrani had asked me to leave my aged grandparents in an old age home in Kolkata and take up a job there. When I refused she told me that she will stop giving us money for our upkeep. Since the last five, six months she has not sent any money," he said.
Bora also claimed that when his mother had come to Guwahati last time she wanted him to give her his PAN card and bank details but he had refused.
