Murder accused hurls shoe at judge in Bhuj

A murder accused today hurled a shoe at the judge of a court in Bhuj while he was about to pronounce the verdict in the case, police said.
However, the shoe missed the judge.
The incident took place in the court of Additional Sessions Judge M T Acharya, who was to deliver judgement in the case, police said.
The pronouncement of the judgement was then deferred.
Kasam Mammad, who hurled the shoe, is accused of killing his brother-in-law in 2010.
As the hearing concluded today and the judge was about to deliver the verdict, Kasim hurled the shoe at the judge and abused him.
Police stopped him before he could throw the other shoe aswell.
