Pop star Shakira has taken to social media to assure her fans that her youngest son Sasha was feeling better while also thanking them for all the get-well messages.
"Everything is under control now, and he's back to his cheerful self," she tweeted with a selfie of her and the adorable Sasha.
"Thanks for all the messages you sent for Sasha while he was sick. Everything is under control now, and he's back to his cheerful self."
Just last week, the Colombian singer cancelled her performances at the Latin Grammys and American Music Awards; it was previously announced she would be performing with Carlos Vives.
Although it wasn't confirmed that her son's health was the reason behind her performance cancellations, the "Chantaje" singer cited "personal matters" for her inability to travel to Las Vegas or Los Angeles and said she would be accompanying Vives "in spirit."
"I will be accompanying @carlosvives in spirit @LatinGRAMMYs, celebrating this incredible year that we've shared together with #LaBicicleta."
The pair's "La Bicicleta" is up for two Latin Grammys, song of the year and record of the year, at Thursday's show.
