Myneni spanked Ramkumar 6-4 6-1 in the opening round in just 66 minutes.
Ramkumar, who created ripples at the Chennai Open by beating two-higher-ranked players en route to quarterfinals, squandered three break chances in the second set.
Myneni, who was very consistent in 2015 season, broke Ramkumar once in the opening set and thrice in the second to seal the issue in his favour.
He will next face Italian Lorenzo Giustino, who is ranked 261st as against Myneni's 168.
India's Yuki Bhambri has got a direct entry into the singles main draw, courtesy his place inside top-100.
