The "Black Swan" actress topped a poll to find the sexiest non-meat eating woman, narrowly beating Miley Cyrus, turned vegan only last year, who came in second place, reported Contactmusic.
"Insurgent" actress Naomi Watts came third, while "Clueless" star and author of "The Kind Diet" Alicia Silverstone came in fourth place with Michelle Pfeiffer rounding out the top five.
Portman, 34, decided to cut meat from her diet as a child and has stuck to her principles ever since.
"I've been a vegetarian since I was nine and vegan on and off. A good pasta is probably my favourite dish," she said.
The survey of 1,000 people - by the diet company Forza Supplements - also found found that 67 per cent of women and 38 per cent of men had given up meat at some point in their lives.
Forza Supplements managing director Lee Smith said, "All the celebrity vegetarians on the list look amazing and show you don't need to eat meat to look great and live healthily.
