Asserting that the Aam Aadmi Party is not a threat to it, the NCP today asked its activists not to obstruct political activities of the fledging party.

State NCP unit president Bhaskar Jadhav denied that his party workers were involved in vandalising the AAP's office in Aurangabad yesterday.

"It's doubtful whether AAP has its office in that city. We have nothing to do with the incident," Jadhav said.

"I have asked party workers to allow the AAP activists to continue their political work of membership drive and other activities of explaining their stand on various issues. Let the people decide. NCP is a firm believer in democracy and all parties have right to expand their mass base and cadre," he said.

Jadhav also said the party would take strict action against party workers if found involved in obstructing AAP.

"We have got information that AAP will target our party and leaders. But we will fight our battle politically," he alleged.

AAP leaders are mistaken if they think they can repeat their performance in Delhi Assembly elections elsewhere in the country, he claimed.
