The Commission demanded that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal sack Law Minister Somnath Bharti for his "inappropriate behaviour".
"It is a serious matter and a case of clear-cut violation of women's rights. A person, even if he is a Minister, cannot search anyone's premises or force someone to undergo medical tests without warrant," NCW chairperson Mamata Sharma said.
Asking the Chief Minister to initiate stern action against Bharti, the NCW chairperson said, "The CM should sack him."
Bharti had yesterday tried to raid an alleged drug and prostitution ring but police had refused to do his bidding citing lack of warrant. He had reportedly directed police to escort some women nationals to a medical facility and get them tested for drugs.
