"Among 5 MLAs nominated to North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) by Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel, three MLAs, namely Rakhi Bidla, Rituraj Govind and Som Dutt have been re-nominated which is against Section 3(3)(b)(iii) of Delhi Municipal Act, 1957," he said.
The Congress leader requested the Speaker to re-look into the nomination as the three AAP MLAs were nominated to the corporation last year as well.
Earlier, South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) Leader of House, Subhash Arya had also written to the Speaker in this regard. He alleged out of the 13 MLAs nominated to the three civic bodies in the city, ten were renominated.
