NDMC seals two 'illegal' mobile towers in Karol Bagh

The North Delhi Municipal Corporation today sealed two mobile towers in Karol Bagh area for allegedly violating norms.
Before this, the Building Department of NDMC had sealed 16 other mobile towers, the civic body said.
"There are 610 mobile towers installed in Karol Bagh zone, out of which only 288 are legal and 322 are illegal while cases of 13 of them are in court," Karol Bagh Ward Committee Chairman Rajesh Bhati claimed in a statement released by NDMC today.
He said that the ceiling drive will take place every week and added that they will appeal to the courts to resolve cases in connection with mobile towers, at the earliest.
