NDMC Standing Committee Chairman Mohan Bhardwaj today directed officials to speed up the process of converting the corporation's residential and non-residential property into freehold, according to a statement here.
Bhardwaj said that market associations should be contacted and informed about the procedure for the same and asked for departmental action to be taken against officials for displaying administrative laxity.
He further said that authorised parking sites should be identified and signboards reading 'Municipal Corporation Parking' placed there.
He also directed officials to give salaries, as per the rules, to 'safai karamcharis' who have been regularised with effect from the date of their regularisation.
