Nepali betel nuts seized by SSB

The Sasashtra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel today seized 4.5 quintals of betel nuts, illegally brought inside India through porous Indo-Nepal border near Madhwa police outpost in Bihar's Madhubani district.
Deputy Commandant of SSB, Raj Ranjan said the betel nuts seized, weighing 40 kg, was packed in 16 sacks and valued at Rs two lakh in the national markets.
He said the seizure was made during patrolling by the SSB jawans. No arrest has been made so far in the case, Ranjan added.
