The newly constituted North East Regional Parties' Front (NERPF) has decided to fight unitedly against all Delhi-based national parties in the forthcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
NERPF is a conglomeration of ten regional parties.
"With the formation of the NERPF, the magic theory of national parties like Congress and BJP to remain in power through the policy of divide and rule and the threat of imposing President's Rule through the institution of Governors in the north-eastern states, have finally come to an end," the Peoples' Party of Arunachal (PPA) said in a statement here today.
