New born dumped in dustbin rescued, hospitalised

A new born baby found in a dustbin was rescued by locals today and admitted to the government hospital here, police said.
The baby weighing 2.75 kg was put on 'radiant heat warmer' and said to be in good health, they said.
Police said it was not clear why the infant had been dumped in the dustbin.
