New Executive Officer of TTD assumes charge

Senior IAS officer D Sambasiva Rao today took charge as the new Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which manages the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at nearby Tirumala.
Rao, who was Principal Secretary for Municipal Administration and Urban Development prior to his present posting, was administered the oath of office and secrecy inside the hill shrine, temple sources said.
The outgoing Executive Officer M G Gopal has been transferred and asked to report to General Administration Department for further posting in Hyderabad.
