The Tamil Nadu based company had recorded Rs 259.35 crore net profit during the corresponding period of the previous year, the company said in a BSE filing.
Total income from operations for the quarter grew to Rs 1,715.91 crore from Rs 1,402.49 crore registered during the year ago period.
Shares of the company ended at Rs 80.75 apiece on BSE.
