NIA team led by the investigating officer P Sanjay produced Jyoti alias Pornima Modiyam, Baijma Sanna, Ayta Markam and Mukka Mandavi, allegedly involved in Jiram valley attack last May in which Chhattisgarh Congress chief Nandkumar Patel and several others were killed, before the court.
Public Prosecutor Ramesh Chandra Pathak and advocate Radha Rajak said the special judge Mahadev Katulkar remanded Jyoti and Baijma in NIA custody for interrogation, while the other two were sent in the judicial remand.
NIA arrested Jyoti from Bijapur while the other three were apprehended from Tongpal in Sukma district, the prosecution said.
Subsequent to the attack, a special NIA court to hear the cases related to the attack was set at the Bilaspur District and Sessions Court.
