Kumar accepted the invitation of Hardik Patel for the rally to be held in Saurashtra on January 28 next year, JD(U) Secretary General K C Tyagi today said.
Kumar's rally with Hardik Patel in the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be a significant political event.
Maratha Kranti Morcha convenor Brigadier Sudhir Samant from Maharashtra and Gujjar Andolan leader Himmat Singh from Rajasthan were also present during the meeting.
Tyagi said the JD(U) chief accepted the invitation of Samant and Singh for rallies in Maharashtra and Rajasthan respectively but no date has been finalised for the two rallies, he added.
He praised Kumar for introducing liquor law in the state, saying it would serve as an example for the entire nation.
