"So far, there has not been any consultation (on the 'Jan Sampark Yatra') and if consultation takes place and if the programme is in the interest of the party and the people, then the state Congress Committee will provide complete support to anyone whether he is a block level leader, state leader or a national leader," Tanwar said here.
The state Congress chief, at the conclusion of the three-day brainstorming session with party leaders, was asked to respond to Hooda's proposed 'Jan Sampark' programme, which is scheduled to start from Jind in May.
However, Tanwar did not attend Hooda's lunch, saying he was busy with the party meeting.
Asked about his relations with Hooda, Tanwar said he does not have "unfriendly" relations with anyone in the party. He also endorsed the view of Haryana Congress co-incharge Asha Kumari, who has described Hooda as "the tallest leader of the party" in Haryana.
