Karnataka Energy Minister D K Shivakumar today said there would be no load-shedding during exam times.
"There would be no load-shedding during exam times in the coming days so that students will not have to suffer," Shivakumar told reporters after inspecting the Varahi hydro-electric power project here.
Stating that some power companies were not generating power to the level they had promised, the Minister said, "We are planning to take action against such companies."
"We will be signing an agreement to purchase power from Damodar valley project on March 4," he added.
