He said that due to inclement weather in last few days, the procurement operations have been little delayed and amidst possibility of prolonged procurement in state, this decision has been taken.
The CEO informed that after thorough analysis 20 purely urban Assembly constituencies have been identified, where poll percentage was around 20 per cent less in comparison of remaining state in last assembly constituencies.
He said these constituencies include Amritsar North, Amritsar West, Amritsar Central, Amritsar East and Amritsar South, Jalandhar West, Jalandhar Central, Jalandhar North and Jalandhar Cantt, SAS Nagar, Ludhiana East, Atam Nagar, Gill, Ludhiana South, Ludhiana Central, Ludhiana West, Ludhiana North, Ferozepur Urban, Bathinda Urban and Patiala.
