No respite from cold in UP, Muzaffarnagar shivers at 3.8 C

Cold wave continues in Uttar Pradesh as temperatures in most parts of the state remained below normal with Muzaffarnagar being the coldest at 3.8 degrees Celsius.
Night temperatures fell appreciably in Varanasi, fell in Allahabad division and changed little in the remaining divisions of the state, MeT office said here today.
They were appreciably below normal in Lucknow division while below normal in Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Faizabad divisions.
Lowest minimum temperature over the state was recorded in Muzaffarnagar at 3.8 deg C.
Weather men have forecast that rain and thundershowers would occur at isolated places over the state while fog at isolated places.
