No RS nomination from Rajasthan today
The notification for the elections was issued yesterday.
The last date for nomination filing is May 31 and the candidates can withdraw papers till June 3, returning officer and secretary of the state legislative assembly Prithvi Raj said.
If necessitated, polling will take place on June 11 for filling four eats of Rajya Sabha, he said.
While the term of three RS MPs --VP Singh Badnore, Ram Jethmalani and Ashk Ali Tak-- is ending in July, one seat for the Upper House from the state is lying vacant.
